November is a busy month for the Texas Association of Builders will host its 2016 fall meetings, induct a pair of Texas housing icons into the Hall of Honor, install its 2017 Senior Officers and announce its 2016 "Of the Year" award winners. Join us November 17-18 at the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin.

Committee meetings begin on Thursday, Nov. 17, while the Board of Directors meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday. With the 2017 legislative session convening in January, many of the committee meetings will focus on TAB's legislative agenda.

Ray Tonjes and David Weekley are two Texans that have been instrumental in the state’s residential housing industry for decades. The pair will be inducted into the Texas Housing Hall of Honor as part of TAB’s Excellence in Leadership Celebration at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18. All events will be held inside the historic Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin.
