Why Join A Local Home Builders Association?

The Texas Association of Builders (TAB) is a 10,000 member professional and trade association representing the residential construction industry in Texas. TAB is the official voice of the home building industry in Texas.

As the recognized and respected trade association that represents 315,000 million jobs and $21 billion of the Texas economy, TAB plays a major role in the legislative, regulatory and public arenas.

TAB's mission is dedicated to creating a positive business environment for the housing industry by addressing the housing issues of the people of Texas. Working with its 31 local associations, TAB enhances your ability to provide jobs and housing for Texas families.

Members of local home builders associations (HBAs) are automatically members of the Texas Association of Builders (TAB) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Membership begins at the local association level, so contact the HBA in your area to learn more about the many benefits offered to members.
