Granger MacDonald, a Kerrville, Texas-based builder and developer with 40 years of experience in the home building industry, was elected as the 2017 chairman of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) during the association's International Builders' Show in Orlando, Fla.


The National Association of Home Builder® (NAHB) honored the Texas Association of Builders M. Scott Norman, Jr. with its inaugural State Executive Officer of the Year Award during the Meeting of the Members at the International Builders’ Show® in Orlando on January 12, 2017. His loyalty and commitment to the residential home building industry and his dedication to working tirelessly, across the federation with local home builders on behalf of the industry have been recognized.
November is a busy month for the Texas Association of Builders will host its 2016 fall meetings, induct a pair of Texas housing icons into the Hall of Honor, install its 2017 Senior Officers and announce its 2016 "Of the Year" award winners. Join us November 17-18 at the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin.
The Texas Association of Builders swore in its 2017 Senior Officers and handed out its 2016 “Of the Year” awards at the Excellence in Leadership Celebration Dinner on November 18. The “Of the Year” awards are given annually to recognize exemplary service and leadership contributions to the home building industry by its members. The Presidential Distinguished Service Awards were presented earlier in the day during TAB's Board of Directors meeting at the Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. These individuals were recognized for their dedication to the industry and association.
On behalf of the building and remodeling industry in Texas, the members of the Texas Association of Builders, want to express their heartfelt sympathies to anyone affected by the tornadoes that ripped through North and East Texas on April 29, 2017.
