2008 Star Awards Finalists and Winners

 

In 1992, the Texas Association of Builders launched the Texas Star Awards — the only statewide tribute to excellence in the home building industry. In 2005, this remarkable awards program expanded to include projects throughout the Southwest. The 2009 Star Awards will continue to showcase the outstanding work of builders, remodelers, architects, designers, sales professionals, marketing professionals, construction professionals and industry leaders in Texas and the Southwest!

The Star Awards is held in conjunction with the Sunbelt Builders Show™ and is heavily marketed to the Sunbelt region: Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas. With more than 75 categories to choose from and hundreds of entries each year, it is an impressive feat to be identified as a finalist, let alone a winner.

Eligibility
    • Texas Association of Builders Members
    • Non-members
 
Individuals, products and advertising entries will be judged only if they were built, marketed or employed between Jan. 1, 2008 and July 13, 2009. Projects that previously received Star Awards are not eligible for consideration in the 2009 Star Awards.
 
Entry Fees and Deadlines
Entry fee for TAB Members:
    $100 per entry if received by the Early Bird deadline, June 22, 2009
    $125 per entry if received after June 22, 2009
       • All entries must be received by 5 p.m., July 13, 2009. 
 
Entry fee for NON-members:
    $200 per entry if received by the Early Bird deadline, June 22, 2009
    $225 per entry if received after June 22, 2009
       • All entries must be received by 5 p.m., July 13, 2009. 
 
Entries must be accompanied by a check, payable to Texas Association of Builders. Entry fees are non-refundable. No entry will be accepted without payment. Please attach a list of entries and the signed Entrant Review and Signature Form to the check.
